Easter At Seven Points!

Spring is in the air and the mountainsides are alive with fresh blossoms and neon green grass. All this meant that it was time for a mountain biking destination. This is our third trip up to Seven Points at Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania and its quickly becoming one of our favorite areas to explore. It’s far enough away that we really feel like we’ve gone somewhere, yet its an easy afternoon drive up there.

We tried out the Ridge Camp which is higher up on the hill, but the area we were in was largely very private and quiet yet provided easy access to the Allegrippis trails for ample riding opportunities. We had intended to get Ryder out on some rides as well, but he was feeling a little under the weather, so I ran solo on mine and got to explore some new areas as well as re-ride one of my favorite trails on the East Coast…. the Allegheny.

The weather couldn’t have been any better… we grilled out each night, roasted marshmallows by the campfire and held our usual Easter egg hunt… that’s a recipe for a perfect holiday weekend getaway.

Well… Almost perfect
