Time is at the utmost premium these days and I knew several solid days were required to build the basic shop structure. I had been bidding my time and trying to keep the foundation dry during the wet early months of summer with my eyes on the 4th of July weekend to get the bulk of the project done.
The holiday weekend was 3 days and I took an additional day off from work to get as much as possible completed. I was still delayed during that time considering it rained most of the day on Saturday, but overall I am very pleased with how much I finished up. I raised the walls on Friday (the two long ones I needed help from Brian to physically stand them up). Then came the rafters and finally the roof sheeting.
