… A house that we have lived in for just shy of 10 years and poured countless hours of care, upkeep, love, sweat and blood into… is going on the market. I still have unfinished projects which in the next few days I’ll be scrambling to get far enough along with that the house can be shown. We knew it wouldn’t be a forever house, but we have outgrown it. We probably did several years ago but we made it work until now.
We have been casually looking for something roomier for a year or two but never thought it was the right time, nor did we find the one. That changed a few weeks back. We came across a house only a mile from our current one. Rural road, considerable property, same school district, garage/shop etc, etc. Price seems fair for the amenities and there is room to grow. We looked at once and then for a second time last night and have decided to make an offer. There will be contingencies, so that means it’s no sure thing, so our fingers are crossed.

UPDATE:
Yep… its happening. After volleying a few offers and counter offers back and forth, we put a contract on the Duvall house and our little place on Ramblewood got listed yesterday. I’ve been in mad dash mode wrapping up projects left and right to get it show-able. I took Monday through Wednesday off to pour some time in; washing, painting, cleaning, packing. With a few exceptions of little things that need tidying, its nearly there.
