I’m finally getting good use of my $150 utility trailer. I had to re-pack bearing which is about the messiest task anyone could ever do. I also replaced the tail lights (one of which I’ve already smashed backing it into a tree, but I digress). After the commotion of getting through those items, she’s road worthy (mostly) and I’m putting some miles on getting the heavy duty yard waste off to the dump.
I spent a few days during the holiday break to clear out some yard debris. Some of logs I’m moving make me extremely thankful for owning a tractor as they weigh several hundred pounds a piece. There’d be no way my back could give them the ol’ heave ho. Instead, I pick them up with the bucket and plop them in the trailer until no more fit. I can roll them off the back of the trailer when I get to the dump, which is makes completing the task pretty easy.
