I\u2019m fine with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wienoldusa.com\/?p=6012\">car related repairs<\/a>, most anything attached to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wienoldusa.com\/?tag=projects\">house<\/a> and certainly boat related. But electronics&#8230; ugh. Yeah, ok. I guess I did initially go to school in an electronics field and yeah, I did actually work for an <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Exabyte_(company)\">electronics manufacturer<\/a> for nearly five years. What\u2019s the worst that could happen? Oh yeah, I could break it worse than it is already.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wienoldusa.com\/?tag=edpi\">EPG<\/a> Surface Pros was dropped and the screen cracked. Repair quotes started at $350 and went up quickly. Parts were only a little over a hundred bucks so why not?<\/p>\n<p>The process was a total PITA. The screen is held on by the strongest tape you could ever image which resulted in me essentially breaking the screen all the way around.
