{"id":7429,"date":"2020-02-02T16:54:24","date_gmt":"2020-02-02T16:54:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wienoldusa.com\/?p=7429"},"modified":"2022-04-21T12:22:47","modified_gmt":"2022-04-21T16:22:47","slug":"chase-cam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wienoldusa.com\/?p=7429","title":{"rendered":"Chase Cam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was finally able to try out a feature called <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"active track (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-oz_2WpHSNw\" target=\"_blank\">Active Track<\/a> on the drone that follows a defined subject. The subject in this case of course is our speeding cyclist up and down the street. I\u2019m not actually piloting the drone, only telling it to pan or climb, but it will move where needed to keep Ryder in frame. The drawback is that Ryder can chase the camera forcing it to back into things that it can\u2019t see, such as a tree or mailbox, both of which were near misses in these early tests.
