Adirondacks 2022 – Part 4

Continued from Part 3

We packed and hitched up on Wednesday morning for a 5ish hour drive south all the way through Massachusetts and into Connecticut. This harvest host was the final stop on my Mountain bike NE tour as it apparently had trailheads in the very parking lot we would stay in overnight…. AT A BREWERY! Best of all worlds!

Indeed, the trails left from that gravel lot located just over the hill from a massive brewery who grew their own hops and many other ingredients. I was happy to patronize the shop by purchasing one of their stainless steel growlers full of today’s brew. I was feeling just up to taking a short evening ride with Ryder and seeing what the trail crews had been up to, and I must say… they’ve been busy. They had a great mix of flow and tech with man made and natural features along the trails. I can’t wait to go back.

After some great burgers and a good night’s rest in the quiet spot with only two other campers, we hit the road to our final stay at a brewery in Pennsylvania. I wouldn’t rank this one on the must return list, but we were safe, comfortable and it was a quite rest stop before our final leg to Annapolis.

We rolled back into Annapolis 16 days after we left and had seen countless wonderful things and experiences. These trips are why we got an RV and without question its been the best investment in ourselves we could have ever made. We collapsed into the couch, ordered pizza delivery and started discussing our next outing.
