We definitely have a boy. He’s into trucks, tractors, cranes, trains, cars boats and planes. The bigger, the louder, the faster… the better. And you guessed it, he even likes monster trucks and has compiled a collection of toy monster trucks to show anyone upon request. It may be a little on the hillbilly side of things for us, but there are certainly worse things to capture his imagination out there.
Nevertheless, as I was driving back from Manteo, NC last week after teaching a class for ABYC, I had to slam on the brakes noticing something rather familiar on the side of the road: the home of Grave Digger the monster truck. Ok, I’ll bite. A couple cell phone shots and a quick tour of their retail shop (XS T-shirt in hand) and I was back on the road. I was pretty impressed at the roadside attraction they had set up for themselves. Cool looking things to look at, and of course lots of trinkets to buy for the little ones.
I’m thankful that Ry was not with me tho… it would have cost me a lot more.
