Christmas Tree ’19

It was a beautiful autumn Black Friday and we did our best to get to Friendship Tree Farm as early as we could muster (which ultimately wasn’t that early). Mimi and Luna came along on our annual pilgrimage and we had a wonderful time hiking the farm and warming our souls with hot chocolate from the barn store. The farm was the busiest we’ve seen it and I would venture to guess that they were nearly sold out that weekend, especially considering Thanksgiving was so late this year.

This is the last time that we hunt down the family Christmas tree as a family of 3. In fact, its about the last thing that we’re ever going to do as a family of 3. With #2s scheduled delivery on Monday, trekking out into the countryside to hunt down a tree seems like we’re pushing our luck and I was really advocating for Kris to stay in the car while we hunt then she can just give her stamp of approval, but alas, we’re wandering together.
