At long last and to the extreme dismay of those family members who are well aware of the impending holiday with little to no control over their patients… the day has finally arrived. Possibly bigger and betterer then everer.
The big one obviously new the ropes and was bouncing off walls once he came down. He also had to hold it together until Grandma came over to watch the shenanigans and for those who may not know, Lois isn’t exactly an early riser. She did manage to come at about 830 and within 2.5 seconds, the paper was flying.
Having just practiced the whole unwrapping thing at his birthday only a few weeks ago, Ethan too was in thick of it albeit, his techniques need some refinement and certainly are not on pace with his bro. He also was perfectly satisfied with his first unveiling and spent the next 30 minutes playing with that as opposed to the hurricane of paper that was occurring behind him.
While their methods were miles apart, both loved every moment of it.
Of course the highlight gifts were both outdoor wheeled devices, more on that later.
Finally, the day was capped with a formal dinner with a few of our closest friends and family.
