White Stuff

Since I was a kid I loved snow despite it never snowing where I grew up. On occasion we would trek into the Sequoia National Park in the winter to visit a couple sledding hills they had and there was even a tow rope ski hill there. That love evolved into a full fledged passion as I learned to snowboard, ski and further explore every recreational activity you can do in it. I moved to Colorado to chase the flakes and now on the Ease Coast, I soak in each blanket in any way I can.

While we weren’t entirely remiss of winter weather last year, this is the first snow we have had in over a year and our first look at our new abode under a frosty layer and we are oh so pleased. We love it here and anyone can see why.

The timing of the snow was not perfect as it coincided with the 2nd crazy EDP holiday weekend of December so we didn’t get to play with Ryder in it the way we would have planned, but it was enjoyable none the less. I came home from my job on Saturday evening and snapped a couple shots with the Christmas’s light blazing. Early Sunday morning, I captured a few more shots as the sun beams filtered through the trees across the road and the sounds of my crunching footsteps carried across the acreage.
