I haven’t been to the Central Valley in California in more than 2 decades but Exeter served as my hometown for my first 18 years and I still have many friends who call it home. The area doesn’t seem to make national media too often but this most recent atmospheric river set its sights on the foothills and mountains surrounding Exeter leaving significant and long lasting impacts to the area. A lot of folks were effected and many of my old friends shared photos of the area that made me not recognize it.
